Dave Bacon's Red Mountain Big Band had a great informal concert last night (9-25-2013) at Winfield's Cafe in Scottsdale.  The next show is in two weeks (10-9-2013) at "The Nash" on Roosevelt in Phoenix.  I am still working on getting the photos Caryn took uploaded.

For this show we had a guest singer joining the band for a few classic Patti Page standards.  Her name is Ena McLaughlin... I hope we do more with her in future shows!  Also a special thanks to Richard Lillard who sat in with us and sightread the bass trombone book after Frank Dubuy hurt his back. Richard is the new owner of the loudest band in town... the "Extreme Decibel Big Band" that plays in the summers on Monday Nights in Glendale.
